Project Cyber is proud to be the official Los Angeles Affiliate for the National Center for Women in Information Technology (NCWIT) Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC) for 2020!‍

NCWIT is a network of change leaders focused on advancing innovation by correcting underrepresentation in computing. The NCWIT Award for AiC provides high school (grades 9 through 12) girls and educators with ongoing engagement, visibility, and encouragement for their computing-related interests and achievements, from high school through college and into the workforce. To date, nearly 8,600 women have been honored with the Award for AiC by NCWIT. Due to the pandemic, we did not host an in-person celebration this year and instead honored the 89 award recipients with Project Cyber swag! We hope the girls and educators enjoyed the customized portable power banks.

Project Cyber will be the Los Angeles Affiliate again for the 2021 NCWIT AiC program, and we look forward to celebrating next year's award recipients!
